Itinerary

Arrival Kathmandu
Arrival at TIA where our representative will be there to welcome the guest. Our representative and driver from our office will meet our guest at the airport and assist and escort them to the hotel or resort. The representative will assist the guest to check in to the designated hotel. At the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities - spend the day visiting the local area on your own. Night stay at hotel/resort in Kathmandu.

Sightseeing around Kathmandu
Early morning breakfast at the hotel. Guest starts the sightseeing tour to a few places in Kathmandu covering Pashupatinath Temple - the holiest temple for Hindus dedicated to Lord Shiva, also a site for Hindu cremation; Boudhanath Stupa - the world's largest stupa of Tibetan Buddhist culture; Patan Durbar Square - an open museum showcasing intricately carved windows and roof struts of gods and goddesses dedicated to Lord Krishna, with a visit to the handicraft centre in Patan; and finally Swayambhunath Stupa - a nearly 2500-year-old site. Evening free to stroll around the local bazaars. Night stay at hotel/resort in Kathmandu.

Drive to Pokhara
Early morning breakfast at the hotel. Drive 5-6 hrs and approx 210 km west of Kathmandu. On the way you can visit the famous Manakamana Temple, reached by cable car/ropeway for an additional cost of INR 525 per person. Pokhara is the second largest city after Kathmandu and a base for trekkers undertaking the Annapurna circuit, with many Hindu and Buddhist temples. Reach the hotel and check in. Evening free to stroll around the area. Night stay in Pokhara.

Pokhara Sightseeing
Today early morning excursion trip to view sunrise over the Himalayas, then back to the hotel. After breakfast leave for sightseeing covering Bindebashini Temple, Seti Gorge, Davis Fall and Mahadev Cave, with an hour of boating on Fewa Lake till Taal Barahi. Evening free to stroll around the area. Night stay in Pokhara.

Drive Lumbini
Breakfast and drive to Lumbini, approx. 127 km and around 4-5 hrs drive from Pokhara. Lumbini is a pilgrimage site for every Buddhist and others, with shrines built by different countries giving the image of holy spiritual and religious value. Lumbini, one of the holy and sacred places where Lord Buddha was born, was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1997, holding great historical and religious significance for Nepal. Overnight stay in Bhairahawa/Lumbini.

Sightseeing around Lumbini & Drive Chitwan
Breakfast and checkout from the hotel. Lumbini sightseeing - visit the birthplace of Buddha: Maya Devi Temple where Buddha's mother gave birth to him, the Ashoka Pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka to commemorate his pilgrimage to the sacred site, the Holy Pond where Queen Mayadevi bathed just before giving birth to Lord Buddha, and other monasteries. After sightseeing transfer to Chitwan, 165 km from Lumbini. Chitwan is a destination where guests can enjoy jungle observation at Chitwan National Park, the highlight being an elephant safari in the jungle around evening depending on arrival time. After the elephant ride one can enjoy a slide show or Tharu folk dance (optional). Evening free for a village walk and sunset view. Night stay at Chitwan.

Chitwan Jungle Activities
Early morning nature walk to watch forests and birds. Enjoy floating down the river on a canoe for around an hour followed by walking back to the camp, popular among tourists. Back to the resort for lunch. Late afternoon elephant safari - guests ride on an elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife, with the ride lasting 2-3 hrs. Night stay at Chitwan.

Drive Chitwan to Kathmandu
Early morning after breakfast leave Chitwan for a 175 km, 5-6 hrs drive back to Kathmandu and check in to the hotel. After relaxation, if time permits one can visit the Mall or Thamel, Kathmandu's primary area catering to tourists. Another neighborhood of growing popularity is Asan Bazaar, on the old trade route to Tibet. Night stay at hotel/resort in Kathmandu.

Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast at the hotel, timely transfer to the international airport for your onward journey.
