Tour Overview
A Walk to Himalayas (Kathmandu, Pokhara & Muktidham Darshan). This 6-day pilgrimage tour combines the sacred Hindu and Buddhist temples of Kathmandu with the lakeside city of Pokhara and the holy Muktinath (Muktidham) Temple high in the Himalayas. Pilgrims fly to Jomsom and journey to Muktinath at 3,710m for a holy bath at the 108 waterspouts and darshan at the continuously burning Jwaladevi flame, before returning for Pokhara sightseeing.

Itinerary
1
Arrival Kathmandu & Sightseeing around Kathmandu
Arrive at Kathmandu by road or air where our representative will welcome and escort you to the hotel or resort and assist with check-in. After a briefing about your daily activities and refreshment, start a sightseeing tour covering Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest temple for Hindus dedicated to Lord Shiva and a site for Hindu cremation, and Bouddhanath Stupa, the world's largest stupa of Tibetan Buddhist culture. Evening free to stroll around the local bazaars. Night stay at hotel / resort in Kathmandu.

Drive to Pokhara
Early morning breakfast at the hotel. Drive 5-6 hrs and approximately 210 km west of Kathmandu. On the way you can visit the famous Manakamana Temple, reached by cable car via ropeway for which an additional cost of INR 525 per person applies. Evening free to stroll around the area. Night stay in Pokhara.

Fly to Jomsom & Drive to Muktinath Temple
Early morning transfer to the airport and fly to Jomsom (25 min flight). Arrive at Jomsom airport and walk 5 min to the hotel. After a short break, walk 10-15 min to the jeep stand and drive approximately 20 km (2-3 hrs) to Muktinath, enjoying the scenic natural beauty, the gorge of the Gandaki river, monastery and Kagbeni. Arrive at Ranipauwa (3,710m) and walk 40 min to Muktinath Temple, where you take a holy bath at the 108 waterspouts known as Muktidhara, with two kunda known as Mukti Kunda in front of the temple. Then walk to Jwaladevi Temple with its continuously burning flame and walk back to Ranipauwa. Drive back to Jomsom by jeep and walk back to the hotel.

Fly back to Pokhara & Pokhara Sightseeing
Early morning transfer to Jomsom airport for the flight to Pokhara and check in to the hotel. After a short relaxation, explore Pokhara sightseeing covering Bindebashini Temple, Seti Gorge, David's Fall and Mahadev Cave, with an hour of boating on Fewa Lake to Taal Barahi. Evening free to stroll around the area. Night stay in Pokhara.

Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu
Early morning after breakfast leave Pokhara following the same path. After a 5-6 hrs drive reach Kathmandu and check in to the hotel. After relaxation, if time permits, visit the Mall or Thamel, Kathmandu's primary tourist area, or Asan Bazaar, an old trade route to Tibet. Night stay at hotel / resort in Kathmandu.

Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast at the hotel, timely transfer to the international airport for your onward journey.
